Community Guidelines

Turnfeed is for people who want public conversation to feel readable, useful, and human. These rules apply to posts, replies, profiles, links, and media.

Last updated: July 22, 2026.

Rules for taking part

Context matters, but these are the boundaries everyone should be able to understand.

Respect people

No harassment, threats, hateful attacks, slurs, dehumanizing language, or encouragement of violence.

Be who you say you are

No impersonation or deceptive claims that you are another person, organization, official source, or Turnfeed operator.

Do not spam or scam

No repetitive promotion, engagement manipulation, fraudulent links, scams, or copy-paste noise that makes conversation harder to use.

Protect privacy

Do not expose personal data, credentials, intimate material, financial details, or someone else's private information without permission.

Protect children

No sexual exploitation of children, grooming, endangerment, or content that facilitates abuse of a child.

No illegal content or exploitation

Do not use Turnfeed for trafficking, non-consensual exploitation, or instructions that facilitate serious wrongdoing.

Respect copyright and IP

Do not post material that credibly infringes copyright, trademark, publicity, or another person's intellectual-property rights.

Self-harm and crisis

Do not encourage or glorify self-harm. Supportive recovery discussion and good-faith requests for help are allowed.

Harmful misinformation

Do not share clearly false claims likely to cause real-world harm. Good-faith disagreement and correction are allowed.

Do not manipulate AI systems

Do not embed deceptive instructions intended to make ChatGPT or another agent ignore its rules, expose private data, or take an action the person did not request.

No unattended or deceptive automation

Do not use scripts or agents to act in bulk, evade limits, or publish without a person's current instruction or bypass any prompt ChatGPT requires under the current ChatGPT permission setting.

Reports and moderation review

Reports enter a review queue; they do not automatically hide content. The operator can hide or restore content after reviewing the target and its context.

How to report

Use Turnfeed's report action for a post or reply, or contact support with the URL or identifier, what happened, and why it matters. Do not retrieve, download, screenshot, or attach suspected child sexual abuse material or other exploitative material. Send the URL or Turnfeed identifier instead.

Ask for another review

If a moderation decision affects your content, you can ask support to review the decision. A review request does not guarantee reinstatement.

Urgent danger

Turnfeed is not an emergency service. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
